DAYS KENYA WILDLIFE SAFARI AND
UGANDA GORILLA TOUR
Day 01:
NAIROBI:
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport.
Met by Diwaka Safaris representative
at the Airport and transferred by
our driver / guide to your Nairobi
hotel. Use of room is not guaranteed
before
noon.
Remainder of the day at leisure.
Overnight at
THE
RED COURT HOTEL (B/B)
Day 02: NAIROBI – ABERDARES:
Breakfast at the Camp. Thereafter,
embark on your return journey to
Nairobi. Lunch at a Nairobi
restaurant and later drive to the
camp. Afternoon game viewing with
visit to the caves. Horseback ride,
boat ride for fly fishing, Night
Game Walk included. Dinner &
overnight at
SANGARE TENTED CAMP (F/B).
Day 03: ABERDARES - SAMBURU:
Breakfast at the camp; begin your
safari drive to the Northern
frontier district via Isiolo to
Samburu National Reserve. Lunch at
the Camp. Late afternoon game
viewing drive.
Dinner
and overnight at
ASHNIL
SAMBURU CAMP (F/B).
Day 04: SAMBURU:
Early morning and late afternoon
game viewing drives in the park,
with spectacular sceneries and
diverse wildlife. Mid morning and
early afternoon is at leisure,
enjoying a swim at the Camp.
All
meals and overnight at
ASHNIL
SAMBURU CAMP (F/B).
Day 05: SAMBURU – LAKE NAKURU:
Breakfast at the camp; Depart for
the Rift Valley passing via
Nyahururu with a brief stop over to
catch a glimpse of the Thompson
Fall, the highest water fall in
Kenya. Arrive in Nakuru in time for
lunch at the Camp in Lake Nakuru
National Park. Late afternoon game
viewing & bird watching drive.
Dinner
and overnight at
FLAMINGO HILL CAMP (F/B).
Day 06: LAKE NAKURU – MAASAI MARA:
After breakfast commence drive via
Narok to the Maasai Mara National
Reserve to arrive for lunch at the
Camp. Late afternoon game viewing
drive.
Dinner
& overnight at
MARA
LEISURE CAMP (F/B).
Day 07: MAASAI MARA:
Early morning and late afternoon
game viewing drives in this Reserve,
with spectacular sceneries and
diverse wildlife. Mid Morning
and early afternoon relaxing at the
camp or at the pool. Option
of a full day Game Drive with picnic
lunch can be arranged.
All
meals & overnight at
MARA
LEISURE CAMP (F/B).
Day 08: MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI –
KAMPALA:
After
breakfast at the Camp, embark on
your journey back to Nairobi. On
arrival in Nairobi transfer to Jomo
Kenyatta Intl. Airport for your
scheduled international departure
flight to Entebbe Uganda. On Arrival
at the airport in Uganda you will be
met by the Uganda Guide who will
transfer you to your hotel in
Kampala. Overnight in
SHERATON HOTEL (B/B).
Day 09: KAMPALA – QUEEN ELIZABETH
PARK:
In the
morning right after breakfast you
will transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP.
The drive will take you 6 hours to
reach the park in the afternoon. You
will check in your lodge to have
lunch and then late r go for a boat
ride on the Kazinga channel. The
launch cruise will enable you view
animals like the buffaloes at the
shores, hippos and plenty of birds
for birders. Overnight at
MWEYA
SAFARI LODGE (F/B).
Day 10: QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK -
BWINDI:
In the morning before sunrise you
will go for a game drive in the park
searching for animals like the
elephants Lions, leopards, hyenas,
warthogs, antelopes and many more.
You will return form the game drive
f or late breakfast at your lodge
before you drive to Bwindi. Time
permitting you may go for a game
drive in the Ishasha sector to
search for tree climbing lions.
Later on you will proceed to reach
Bwindi in the afternoon. Overnight
at
GORILLA RESORT LODGE (F/B).
Day 11: BWINDI:
In the morning after breakfast you
will transfer to the park
headquarters for briefing before you
proceed to the park in search for
the giant apes. The time taken
before encountering the gorillas
varies and it ranges from 2 hours to
9 hours. Therefore you will have to
carry packed lunch. On meeting the
gorillas you will be allowed to
spend one hour with them and then
later return to your lodge.

GORILLA RESORT LODGE (F/B).
Day 12: BWINDI - KAMPALA:
In the morning after breakfast you
will transfer to Kampala. The drive
takes 9-12 hours depending on the
weather, to reach in the evening.
You will be transferred to your
Hotel. Overnight at Sheraton hotel
/Holiday express hotel.
Day 13: KAMPALA – NAIROBI AND
DEPART:
Depending on your flight departure
time you may go for a city tour to
go visit the National museum, the
Bahai temple and the Kasubi tombs
for an insight in the Ugandan
culture. Later on you will be
transferred to the Airport for you
flight back home.
