DTC 07: 6 DAYS EDUCATIONAL TOUR:
LK. NAKURU - LK NAIVASHA - MAASAI
MARA

DAY 01: NAIROBI - LAKE NAKURU
Depart from Nairobi at 08.00 hrs for
Subukia Farm near Lake Nakuru - TEA
& COFFEE FARM AND COLUMBUS MONKEY
SANCTUARY; Home to the endangered
Black and White Colobus Monkey. We
learn about the cultivation and
processing of tea and coffee and
later visit a sanctuary for the rare
Colubus monkeys of Kenya. Guided
tour of both coffee & tea plantation
estates with a visit to both
factories, visit their village of 11
different tribes & a local school
followed with a barbeque lunch at
this Farm. PM Visit the colubus
monkey sanctuary & later proceed to
Lake Nakuru for dinner and overnight
at a CAMPSITE.
DAY 02: LAKE NAKURU - HELL'S
GATE/LAKE NAIVASHA
Early game drive. Breakfast at the
Camp. Later visit Menengai Crater
before pr oceeding to Hell's Gate
National Park. Picnic lunch at
Hell's Gate. Afternoon hiking. Visit Olkaria Geothermal Plant on the way
out. Enjoy a boat ride to the
Crescent Island at Lake Naivasha.
Dinner and overnight at Lake
Naivasha Fisherman's Camp.
DAY 03: LAKE NAIVASHA - MASAI
MARA
Head further south past Narok to the
famous Masai Mara Game Reserve.
Lunch en route. Afternoon game
drive. Dinner & overnight at a Camp
near Sekenani Gate at the Eastern
edge of the Reserve.
DAY 04: MASAI MARA
After breakfast, drive to Hippo
Point in Mara River. Game viewing on
the way. Mara is packed with the
elephants, zebras, rhinos and over
350 bird species throughout the
year, with the spectacular
wildebeest migration from Serengeti
occurring mainly in July and August.
Picnic lunch at Hippo Point. After
lunch drive back to the Camp. Game
viewing on the way. Dinner &
overnight at the Camp.
DAY 05: MASAI MARA
Walking safari combined with a game
drive and a visit to Masai Manyatta
(Village). Barbeque dinner and
overnight at the Camp.
DAY 06: MASAI MARA - NAIROBI
Morning game drive & return to the
Camp for breakfast, thereafter
proceed on to Nairobi via Narok
where Masai souvenirs can be bought.
Lunch at The Toona Tree Restaurant.
PM visit The National Museum & the
Snake Park.
